My Approach

Did you know that around 92% of New Year’s resolutions fail within six weeks?

Most of us have the potential to get where we want to go, but getting there isn’t always straightforward. Confidence, focus, motivation, overwhelm, stress, or executive functioning challenges can get in the way. We live in a world of incredible opportunity, but also increasing pressure, competition, and complexity… and that can feel daunting.

That’s where coaching comes in.

I take an integrative approach to coaching, drawing on a broad range of psychological, coaching, and mindfulness-based techniques. My work is collaborative, practical, and tailored to you, whether that means creating structured plans with clear steps and contingencies, or providing a reflective, supportive space to think things through.

I am also trained in working with neurodivergent learners and in executive function coaching, which means I am experienced in supporting clients who may think, process, learn, and work differently. This includes helping with organisation, planning, time management, emotional regulation, attention, task initiation, and breaking goals into manageable, realistic steps — in ways that truly fit how your brain works.

Some of the areas I work in include:

  • Stress and anxiety management

  • Exam techniques and revision strategies

  • Interview preparation

  • Emotional regulation

  • Goal setting and achievement

  • Career planning and direction

  • Confidence and assertiveness

  • Time management and organisation

  • Building and maintaining healthy relationships

  • Communication skills

  • Transition from education into working life

None of us are born knowing how to manage stress, bounce back from setbacks, organise our time effectively, or navigate difficult conversations — yet we’re often expected to “just cope.” Parents, teachers, and mentors do their best, but in an increasingly demanding world, extra support can make a significant difference. Strong foundations built early can help prevent challenges from becoming more serious later on.

At the heart of effective coaching is clarity — understanding what you want, why you want it, and how to move towards it in a sustainable way. Change can feel uncomfortable or intimidating, but it is also deeply rewarding.

Coaching works. Because the change comes from you.
